What are 'Actions'? How do I sign off 'Actions'? How do I know what actions I must complete?

Actions are set by area managers as activity that must take place following meetings that have been held.

You can view all meetings shared with you using your 'Meetings' tab. Click here for more information.

If you have been assigned any actions during meetings with your area manager, you will be able to manage these through to completion in Hopsy. Once your actions are complete, you should mark them as closed.

Please note: You must review and sign off any meetings before you can mark associated actions as 'closed'.

Managing Actions by Meeting

Within your 'Meetings' tab, meeting notes that contain actions that have still not been marked as complete are surfaced in their own section.

  • The status of 'Actions Overdue' means that meeting contains at least 1 action that has passed the due date and has not been marked as complete.

  • The 'Actions Outstanding' status is displayed only on meetings containing actions that have not surpassed their due date.

  • The 'Completed Meetings' section contains the meeting notes where all actions required have been marked as complete, and no further action is required.

Managing Actions From The Action Dashboard

To view, and manage actions assigned to you across all meetings, head to the 'My Actions' tab. Here, it is easy to see individual actions that are outstanding, irrespective of the meeting they belong to.

You will find all actions assigned to you in your actions tab, no matter what the origin (not just meetings). Learn more about other functions that generate actions in Hopsy.

Action Detail

To view detail, click into an action:

Within the detail, it's possible to:

  • Close the action when complete

  • Edit the priority and due date

  • Reassign to a new staff member

  • capture notes relating to the action.
