Compliance checklists are configured centrally by your company, and are required across all sites within the companies' estate. These cannot be created or edited by venue employees.

You can, however, create your own site specific checks using the either the 'Duties' or the 'Cleans' function within the 'Operations' tab at your venue.

  • You can configure your duties to be tasked into the task list on the days you require the duty to take place, and you fully own and control the content and questions in the check itself.

Why not set up 'Duties' in Hopsy to organise the opening and closedown of your business.

Tip: You can set a weekly duty for a specific day to remind you to put out the empty barrels before your beer delivery.

For more 'cleaning' related organisation, check out the 'Cleans' functionality.

How Do I create a 'Duty' at my venue

Step 1

At your venue home, dropdown 'Operations' and select 'Duties'

Step 2

If you have not already created any duties, your index will be blank. Click '+ Add Duty' to begin.

Step 3

Give your duty a name and schedule how often you would like Hopsy to generate a task to complete this duty.

Tip: If you select a weekly task, you will also be able to specify which day of the week you require this duty to be completed.

Step 4 - Add your questions

Hit 'Add Question' to begin building your check questions.

There are different types of questions available. Choose the question type most appropriate to what you are asking. Most questions suit simple 'yes and no' answers, however, the 'Notes' type can be used if you wish for your employees to capture more importation.

Tip: Try the 'Dropdown' type for multiple choice answers. You can even tell the system which of these answers you deem to be 'correct'.

Extra Question Options

  • The 'Add Description' option allows you to capture extra detail about the question itself. For example: This might be further instructions or guidance how to complete the question.

  • If you would like to offer the option to generate 'Tickets' if your staff discover an issue, ensure the Raise Ticket raise toggle is switched on for each question.

  • Toggle the Additional Details switch if you would like to allow further information to be captured on an incorrect answer

Step 5 - When happy, at the bottom of the page, push the 'Create Duty' button.

Your checklist will be live at your venue immediately.

What happens if I do not need a duty anymore?

Archiving your duty is easy and immediate. This removes any duty tasks from your task list and labels your duty as 'Archived'. Click here for how.
