How do I complete temperature checks of my fridges & freezers?

First, ensure that you configure the fridges and freezers at your venue. Once configured, Hopsy will generate tasks to capture temperature records in line with your company settings.

Step 1

Your fridge / freezer temperature tasks will appear in the 'Today's Tasks' list at your venue home.

To complete the check, click the task.

If your company has specified that this must be completed by a certain time, the time due will be displayed next to the task.

Step 2

Your venue fridge & freezer configuration will load. Input the temperature for each unit in your kitchen.

  • By law, fridges are required to operate under 8 degrees and freezers under -18 degrees.

  • Any temperatures outside the legal operating range will be highlighted in red.

  • For any temperatures outside of range, a corrective action is required to be detail before submission.

Please Note: For fridges/freezers that are not in use, the 'In Use' toggle can be switched off to omit capturing a temperature for that unit on this particular check.

Step 3

After all temperatures and any corrective actions have been input, ensure the check is finalised using the 'Submit' button at the bottom of the page.

Please note: If your company has specified that multiple fridge freezer checks are due each day, additional tasks will not appear in your task list until the time window that these checks have been configured.
