Can company staff be added to venue rotas?

It is possible for company level employees to be active members of venue rotas across multiple venues.

  • Company staff can use their own calendar to add shifts to venues and share / communicate these shifts with the venue.

  • In addition, company staff can allow permission for venue managers to add them to their venues' rota. This is then communicated via the calendar function.


Using the calendar to add shifts

Company employees can add their own shifts across venues

Step 1

As a company employee, log into Hopsy, and on the overview, use the '+ Add Event' button to begin.


Step 2

Select 'Shift at Venue'

You can also use this feature to plot holiday on your calendar and share with your venues that you are away.

Step 3

Select the venue and the shift details including the date and times.

Step 4

Hit the 'Create' button

  • Your shift will immediately shared with the venue you have chosen to work in, and will also be plotted on your own calendar.


Allowing venues to add your shifts

If you choose to allow your venue managers to control your rota, you can turn on the ability for them to add shifts to your calendar.

Step 1

Log into Hopsy and head to your profile 'Settings'.


Step 2

In the profile settings, hit the 'Rota Settings' tab and toggle she shift settings 'On'.

  • Your name will appear immediately on the rota page at all venues, and venue managers and assistant management will be able to add shifts to your calendar.
