The 'Policies' function within the 'Compliance' section of Hopsy allows your company to communicate information with you at your venue. The reading of these policies then forms part of your venue score. You are required to read and sign off that you have read all policies that your company has chosen to share with you.

So what do I have to do?

Step 1

Log into your Hopsy account. You cannot confirm that you have read a policy if you are logged in as someone else. If you cannot remember your password, click here for what to do.

Step 2

For any Policies that you are required to read, you will find tasks in your tasks tab. Click into 'My Tasks'.

All tasks that you are have responsibility to complete are listed here, including reading any policies.

Please note: If there are no polices or tasks here, you are fully compliant and there is nothing you need to do.

Step 3

Click into any policy tasks you have and click the 'Read Policy' button. - Make sure you read and understand the policy in full before clicking the button.

Step 4

Sign in the box to confirm that you have read and understand the policy, and then click the 'Confirm' button.

Upon confirming, Hopsy stores a record of the date and time you you confirmed you had read. Your manager can access this information.

You can now head back to your overview and complete any other tasks you may have.

'Document Policies'

Some of the policies tasks that you may be required to complete might include reading 'documents'. To read these documents, you can click the link at the top of the policy.

Your company can also choose settings that generate 're-reads' of policies. This is to keep information fresh. Don't worry, Hopsy will generate new tasks for you when this is required.
