Please note:
The 'Hopsy Role' governs pay oversight and permissions within Hopsy. 'Work Departments' simply determine the position of the employee on the rota.
Hopsy Role: 'STAFF'
'Staff' have the most restricted view of your venue and cannot see any pay information anywhere in the system.
Staff have NO access to the 'Staff Management' section, and NO costing information on any of their rota screens:
Staff have access to clock in records, to check their own times, but like the rota, there is no cost information available.
Be careful: Protect privacy... Never leave communal devices logged in to management accounts on Hopsy.
Hopsy Role: ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT
Assistant Management can see and edit 'staff' pay, but do have some reduced permissions.
Staff Management
The 'Assistant Management' role is able to access the staff management section and can see/add/edit pay rates for staff members only.
Assistant management can also see their own pay/salary, but cannot see or edit pay rates for other 'assistant management' or the 'venue manager'.
Rota
The 'Assistant Management' role has access to sales forecasts and rota costing information including daily totals and labour percentages.
Please note: Weekly totals for other management roles are concealed to protect confidentiality.
Hopsy Role: Venue Manager
The 'Venue Manager' has the highest permissions and can see all salaries and costs at the venue.
The venue manager has the ability to edit all pay rates and salaries including their own.
Please note: Venue managers cannot see cost associated with company users / area managers.
