Employee Rota Availability / Unavailability

Set times when your team can and can't work & display your weekly rota.

Configure your staff availability and display when building rotas:


Step 1

From the staff rota, click the employee's name to add their rota availability.


Step 2

Click the 'Rota Availability' tab to begin adding options.


Step 3

For days with limited availability, change the setting to 'unavailable' and then choose from the following:

  • Unavailable all day

Switch the 'All Day' toggle on for the appropriate day, and the employee is set to unavailable for that day. (See option 1 pictured below)

  • Unavailable between certain times

To communicate unavailability between certain time periods, switch off the 'All Day' toggle, and then select a start and finish time. (See option 2 pictured below)

Unavailability will be communicated on future rotas, but this is for reference only and shifts can still be added by management during these times if necessary.
